Sarah has over 20 years experience in Melbourne and London agencies including Dentsu Creative, Leo Burnett, Karmarama, Y&R, Grey and Cummins.
Over her career she has partnered with some of the world’s best-loved brands including Honda, Bonds, Nintendo, 7-Eleven, Virgin, Emirates, UK TV, Cadbury, Kmart, L’Oreal, The Iconic, Tourism Western Australia, Transplant Australia and Marriage Equality.
As Executive Creative Director of Dentsu Creative Melbourne, she built and nurtured a creative department from three to over fourteen. She led and won pitches for RMIT University, Temple & Webster, The Star, L’Oreal, La Roche Posay and The Iconic.
Sarah is known for strong client partnerships, as well as setting high creative standards. At Dentsu Creative she built numerous enduring brand platforms for the likes of NIB, Toyota, Transplant Australia and Kmart, to name a few.
Sarah has been recognised at every major award show including Cannes Lions, Effies, Spikes Asia, One Show, LIA and AWARD.
An industry leader, Sarah is the first Melbourne-based member to join the AWARD Council. She is also co-founder of The Aunties, a mentoring and support program for women in the creative industry. She was the Victorian Head of AWARD School for three years, as well as serving on the RMIT Industry Advisory Committee.
Sarah has spoken at panels and events including This Way Up, Copyschool, AWARD School and The Aunties.
She has been invited on multiple juries including One Show, London International, Spikes Asia and Cannes Lions.
And she was recently nominated for Creative Leader of the Year by CreativePool.
When she’s not working Sarah is Mum to Wyn aged 8, and believes that being a parent makes you a better creative – "it makes you more efficient, ambitious and gives you a real sense of perspective.”
